About the role

Responsibilities
- Manage client jobs within LIMS
- Oversee daily workflows to ensure efficiency and schedule compliance
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime
- Support inventory management, including tracking consumables and procurement
- Enforce quality control procedures and maintain compliance with SOPs
- Provide technical support for complex testing activities and troubleshoot issues
- Train and develop laboratory personnel on methods, procedures, and protocols
- Support staff scheduling, performance management, and workforce planning
- Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
- Contribute to validation and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry
- Minimum 5 years' laboratory experience
- At least 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management role
- Experience in a geochemical or mining laboratory environment
- Knowledge of ISO 17025 quality systems, internal auditing, and method validation
- Proficiency with LIMS and SOPs
- Strong understanding of laboratory quality control and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel internationally for training
