Responsibilities

  • Manage client jobs within LIMS
  • Oversee daily workflows to ensure efficiency and schedule compliance
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime
  • Support inventory management, including tracking consumables and procurement
  • Enforce quality control procedures and maintain compliance with SOPs
  • Provide technical support for complex testing activities and troubleshoot issues
  • Train and develop laboratory personnel on methods, procedures, and protocols
  • Support staff scheduling, performance management, and workforce planning
  • Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
  • Contribute to validation and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry
  • Minimum 5 years' laboratory experience
  • At least 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Experience in a geochemical or mining laboratory environment
  • Knowledge of ISO 17025 quality systems, internal auditing, and method validation
  • Proficiency with LIMS and SOPs
  • Strong understanding of laboratory quality control and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel internationally for training
