Assistant Instructor (Part-Time), Applied Behavior Analysis, Technology Assisted Teaching
About the role
The Assistant Instructor supports learners in courses through 1:1 coaching, consultation, instructional materials, and office hours or group study sessions.
Responsibilities
- Build an online community for continuous improvement.
- Create and share learning resources using text, video, and other technologies.
- Lead and comment in courseroom discussions.
- Facilitate optional study and review sessions.
- Assess learning and comprehension through various methods.
- Stay updated with essential technologies like Civitas, Outlook, and Kaltura.
- Maintain learner records.
Requirements
- Experience with teaching or tutoring.
- Self-motivated and highly organized.
- Knowledge of adult learning theory and practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective time management and problem resolution skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Comfortable using technology to facilitate learning.
- Experience working with diverse learning styles.
- Experience as a BCBA and teaching at the graduate level in an online environment.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the relevant field.
- Doctoral degree preferred.
- Completed Master’s degree preferred.

Pay
$20.00 is the expected starting pay for this position. This offer is based on current budgetary guidelines and additional factors outlined below.
Schedule
This position requires 30-35 hours a week and is remote. Most duties can be completed on nights and weekends, but some availability during regular business hours for training, team meetings, and learner appointments may also be required. The Assistant Instructor will be expected to check into the courseroom on weekends.
