About the role
The Assistant Innkeeper is responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing housekeeping tasks, and assisting in the overall operation of the hotel.
Responsibilities
- Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and common areas
- Assist with front desk operations including answering phones and handling reservations
- Perform light maintenance tasks as needed
- Support the team in ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic computer skills including email and internet usage
