About the role

The Assistant Innkeeper is responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing housekeeping tasks, and assisting in the overall operation of the hotel.

Responsibilities

  • Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and common areas
  • Assist with front desk operations including answering phones and handling reservations
  • Perform light maintenance tasks as needed
  • Support the team in ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic computer skills including email and internet usage
