Key Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day hotel operations and administrative tasks in a Jack/Jill of all trades manner that includes rooms, housekeeping, food & beverage, events, and maintenance.
- Ensure service excellence across all touchpoints, resolving guest concerns with professionalism and care.
- Maintain high standards in cleanliness, safety, and operational compliance with all laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Interact with guests to gather feedback and continuously improve experiences.
Creative Direction & Programming
- Afford to develop and execute authentic and community supporting programming across the property including seasonal events, pop-ups, and collaborations.
- Ensure curated menus, in-house music, and brand experiences reflect The Gables’ identity.
- Collaborate with marketing to promote events, drive revenue, and strengthen brand positioning.
Team Leadership & Culture
- Assist in recruiting, training, coaching, and mentoring associates across all departments, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and professional work environment.
- Lead by example in hospitality, creativity, and accountability.
- Conduct on-the-floor coaching to ensure operational standards are consistently met.
- Uphold company values, policies, and culture in all staff and guest interactions.
Financial & Strategic Management
- Assist in developing and managing budgets, payroll, and inventory for hotel and F&B operations.
- Monitor financial performance, KPIs, and revenue trends, implementing strategies to maximize profitability.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Enforce food safety, labor, and licensing regulations across all outlets.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming, and clean environment for guests and staff.
- Ensure that all HR policies and operational procedures are followed consistently.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, mentorship, and team-building skills.
- Tech savvy, creative, collaborative, and detail-oriented, with a passion for hospitality.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Compensation
Starting salary at $60-$65 commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer paid time off, and holiday pay.
