About the role

The Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring all cleaning standards are met and staff are trained and motivated.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily cleaning schedules and ensure all areas are cleaned according to established protocols.
  • Train and mentor housekeeping staff to improve efficiency and quality of work.
  • Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are stocked and in good working order.
  • Communicate directly with clients to address any concerns or issues related to housekeeping services.
  • Manage the budget for cleaning supplies and equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a housekeeping or similar role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a team and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
