Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor

About the Role

The Housekeeping / Environmental Services Assistant Supervisor role has a dual focus. The first focus is to perform routine housekeeping/environmental services tasks, generally spending 80% of the time on these duties. The second focus is assisting the Environmental Services Supervisor with daily management tasks, including hiring, training, scheduling, staff evaluation, ordering, inventory, and oversight of operations.

Responsibilities

• Daily oversight of housekeeping operations and staff to maintain sanitation and facility appearance.
• Interviewing and hiring housekeeping staff.
• Mentoring and training staff on proper housekeeping procedures.
• Maintaining work schedules to ensure proper coverage.
• Conducting performance evaluations of housekeeping staff.
• Managing inventory of cleaning and linen supplies and preparing linens.

Requirements

• Housekeeping experience.
• Supervisory experience.
• Outgoing personality, strong communication skills, and customer service orientation.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Current CPR certification preferred or willingness to be trained.
• Ability to understand and speak English for safe and efficient job performance.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this role.

Pay

Pay starts at $18.00/hour, with the opportunity to earn more based on experience.

Schedule

Current Full-Time Opportunities: 8am-4pm (includes Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday)
