Monarch Bella Terra, a premier provider of quality senior living, is seeking an Assistant Health and Wellness Director / Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) to join our team in Jackson Township, New Jersey.

About the role

As the Assistant Health and Wellness Director / ADON, you will collaborate with the Director of Clinical Services to plan, organize, and direct the overall clinical operations of the nursing department. This role ensures comprehensive care for residents in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of all policies and procedures pertaining to the position, department, and personnel.
  • Develop and implement active wellness programs for residents in collaboration with the Activity Director.
  • Maintain resident files in an orderly manner and document all pertinent information regarding residents.
  • Prepare resident charges and reports for Director approval and billing.
  • Assess residents within 90 days prior to move-in and annually, or as the resident's condition changes.
  • Develop the initial Individual Service Plan (ISP) within 72 hours of move-in and the comprehensive ISP within 30 days, updating annually or as needed.
  • Oversee resident care provided by the nursing department.
  • Investigate all resident and family complaints or concerns regarding the nursing department and report findings to the Director; ensure problems are resolved.
  • Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate all nursing staff.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current NJ nursing license (RN) in good standing.
  • Two (2) or more years’ experience in a supervisory role in Senior Living, Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, or Skilled Care.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel), with the ability to learn new applications.

Physical Abilities

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
  • Must lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents; proper body mechanics must be used.

USD 40.00 - 43.00 hourly.

Schedule
