About the role

The Riverside Unified School District (RUSD) seeks a dedicated and experienced Girls Water Polo Coach to lead and inspire young athletes at Arlington High School.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement water polo programs that meet the needs of student-athletes.
  • Collaborate with other coaches, teachers, and administrators to ensure a cohesive athletic program.
  • Provide instruction and guidance to players to improve their skills and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and other school events as needed.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • A valid Credential/Permit or Activity Supervisor Clearance Certificate (ASCC).
  • A valid CPR/First Aid Certificate.
  • A valid Concussion Training Certificate.
  • A valid Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training Certificate.
  • A valid Heat Illness Certificate.
  • A valid Fundamentals of Coaching Certificate.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience coaching water polo at the high school level.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of current water polo techniques and strategies.

Benefits

  • Placement on the July 1, 2025 Coaching Stipends-Salary Schedule.
  • One year of step credit for each year of previous coaching experience equivalent to public school paid experience, not to exceed 10 years.
  • Stipend may be split.

Comments and Other Information
