What You’ll Own

  • Team Leadership & Accountability: Help lead daily operations across the facility. Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and development of member experience staff. Create clear expectations, accountability, and consistency across shifts and systems. Act as a leadership presence during peak operational hours. Build a team culture rooted in professionalism, empathy, ownership, and hospitality. Coach staff through challenges and difficult member situations with maturity and composure.

  • Operations & Systems: Ensure the gym operates smoothly, efficiently, and at a consistently high standard. Identify operational gaps and proactively solve problems before they become larger issues. Improve workflows, SOPs, communication systems, and operational processes. Oversee facility presentation, organization, maintenance coordination, and inventory systems. Partner with leadership on operational planning, reporting, and execution. Manage vendors, operational technology, and facility logistics.

  • Member Experience: Set the standard for hospitality and member interaction. Build strong relationships with members and contribute to the overall community experience. Handle escalated member concerns with professionalism and empathy. Ensure every touchpoint, from tours to daily interactions, reflects the Breuckelen Athletic brand. Work closely with coaches and staff to create a seamless experience across training, recovery, and operations.

  • Business Growth & Leadership: Support retention, member engagement, and operational growth initiatives. Assist with events, partnerships, and community activations. Contribute ideas that improve operational efficiency and member satisfaction. Help ownership execute on larger business priorities and projects. Serve as a reliable second-in-command capable of helping drive the business forward.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in operations, hospitality, fitness, wellness, or customer experience leadership preferred.

  • Experience managing teams and improving systems is a major plus.

  • Someone who genuinely cares about creating an exceptional environment for both members and staff.

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in hospitality, high-end fitness, and/or related high-end client-facing industry.

  • At least 1-3 years of management experience.

  • Degree in hospitality, communications, exercise, or a comparable field.
