About the role

Jared is a division of Signet Jewelers, a company dedicated to inspiring love through jewelry. The Jared Assistant General Manager oversees operations in the absence of the General Manager, ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Assumes duties of General Manager in absence
• Maintain customer satisfaction by prioritizing customer needs
• Achieve store sales projections
• Enforce store policies and procedures
• Recruit and screen personnel
• Supervise sales, office, and inventory personnel
• Monitor inventory control and store maintenance
• Execute minor repairs as needed
• Implement and administer merchandise and advertising programs
• Develop technical knowledge of repairs and custom design services
• Estimate cost on watch and jewelry repairs
• Monitor sales, credit, administrative, and security policies
• Develop a full understanding of store promotions
• Develop product knowledge and customer service skills
• Work flexible schedule to cover store operations

Requirements

• Completion of Information Security Privacy Awareness Quiz and Safety First Quiz
• No Code of Conduct counseling within the past six months
• Meet or exceed minimum training requirements
• Pass Performance Appraisal requirements
• Ability to achieve outstanding sales performance
