Assistant General Manager - Hyatt Place, Boulder, CO

About the role

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is searching for an Assistant General Manager for the Hyatt Place in Boulder, CO. The Assistant General Manager will provide exceptional service to every guest while maximizing hotel profitability and ensuring all hotel operations are performed professionally and adhere to brand and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate activities of front desk, housekeeping, reservations, guest service, security, and maintenance
• Maximize ADR and Occupancy
• Coordinate communications between Sales and Operating departments
• Motivate, coach, and train department supervisors
• Understand financial statements and budget, including staffing guidelines
• Control department head schedule, expenses, and implement cost-saving strategies
• Guide, develop, and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems to improve business operations
• Manage all aspects of the safety program, including training, reporting, and incentives
• Maintain a cooperative and positive work environment

Requirements

• 2+ years of supervisory hotel operations experience
• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt
• Knowledge of financial statements and budget including staffing guidelines
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest service results as measured through guest satisfaction
• Ability to develop and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems to improve business operations
• Ability to embrace property safety programs including training, reporting, and incentives
• Demonstrated initiative, perseverance, and analytical skills
