Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager in upholding all brand standards and core values.
  • Identify and act on opportunities and challenges to maximize the business' full potential.
  • Execute the Cafe Sales & Marketing plan and help achieve year-over-year entrée count growth.
  • Mentor and coach junior management staff to understand financial goals.
  • Communicate a clear operating direction based on a sound understanding of the business.
  • Support the GM in building a highly functional team of management and hourly team members.
  • Foster an environment of customer advocacy where all team members prioritize guest needs.
  • Execute established standards for guest satisfaction that meet or exceed brand standards.
  • Support the GM in responding to and addressing guest feedback from various sources.
  • Achieve Cafe staffing objectives by attracting and retaining talented individuals.
  • Define goals and expectations for management and hourly team members using performance review tools.
  • Develop, implement, and execute learning and developmental programs for all individuals under his/her stewardship.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, inclusive of restaurant front line operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or documented entrepreneurial hospitality leadership.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, verifiable by peers and prior supervisors.
  • Consultative skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills demonstrated through the ability to diagnose and develop recommended solutions.
  • Potential and aspiration to serve as a Hard Rock General Manager.
