Assistant General Manager

About the role

The Assistant General Manager is responsible for the proper management of all departments at the plant level and reports to the General Manager. This employee is responsible for revenue, profit and growth at the assigned location and executes primary responsibilities in accordance with Company Policy and Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage all departments at the plant level
• Drive revenue, profit, and growth at the assigned location
• Recruit and develop staff members
• Conduct employee reviews

Requirements

• Managerial and high level organizational skill experience
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and resourcefully to meet established goals
• Previous experience in P/L
• Computer skills such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
• Ability to work with a variety of individuals
• Excellent communication skills
• 2+ years in customer service, sales, production management and supervisory role
• 1+ years experience in consulting, training, goal setting, employee relations, and problem solving
• Must be able to recruit and develop staff members and conduct employee reviews

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Plant Manager or Assistant General Manager in a laundry facility preferred but not required
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred but not required
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required
