We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business. This Assistant General Counsel position supports the firm’s legal needs, with opportunities for remote or hybrid work.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal guidance to firm professionals concerning client matters, including disputes, compliance, and licensing issues.
- Advising partners and employees on contract preparation, including client engagement letters, master services agreements, and other agreements.
- Manage subpoena compliance and other court-related matters.
- Review and provide legal guidance on new leases, renewals, and other real estate documents.
- Protect the firm’s intellectual property, including advising on IP protection and enforcement, and coordinating with outside counsel.
- Investigate and handle employment-related legal issues.
- Manage contracts/legal team to ensure timely resolution of requests and KPIs/goals.
- Handle other projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor degree with 5-8 years of relevant experience as a practicing attorney.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
- Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on a variety of contracts.
- Strong legal research experience in various practice areas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Desire to provide excellent and prompt service to firm stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to communicate complex legal issues to non-legal stakeholders.
- Interest in a long-term role within a growing legal department.
- Litigation experience required.
- Professional liability defense experience preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Must be in good standing with the Bar of at least one U.S. state.

- Competitive salary range: $153,000 to $206,000 depending on experience.

Pay
$153,000 to $206,000 depending on experience.
