Legal Assistant
This role is with a growing immigration and family law firm based in the Kansas City metro area, serving individuals, families, and businesses through some of the most consequential moments of their lives. The firm handles a broad range of matters, including family-based immigration, removal defense, naturalization, business immigration, humanitarian relief, and family law. The company has built a reputation for combining strong legal advocacy with a genuine, client-first approach, and much of its work is conducted in both English and Spanish to better serve the communities it represents.
About the role
This is an opportunity to join a close-knit, mission-driven legal team where your work has real, tangible impact on people's lives—reuniting families, protecting individuals facing removal, and helping clients achieve permanent status or citizenship. The firm offers a collaborative office culture, hands-on mentorship from experienced attorneys, and exposure to a wide variety of immigration and family law practice areas rather than a narrow specialty. For someone who wants meaningful, purpose-driven work in a supportive small-firm environment with room to grow, this is a strong fit.
