Assistant Gelato Maker, Deliveries

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the daily production of gelato and related components, scaling, measuring, and prepping ingredients with precision, following recipes and production schedules to maintain consistency, operating kitchen equipment safely, maintaining a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace, supporting inventory prep and basic kitchen organization, working closely with the production team to meet daily volume goals, and delivering (in company vehicle).

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily production of gelato and related components
• Scale, measure, and prep ingredients with precision
• Follow recipes and production schedules to maintain consistency
• Operate kitchen equipment safely (mixers, batch freezers, ovens, etc.)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace
• Support inventory prep and basic kitchen organization
• Work closely with the production team to meet daily volume goals
• Deliveries (in company vehicle)

Requirements

• Previous kitchen, bakery, or production experience (not required)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow systems
• Ability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, physically active environment
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Qualifications

• Experience with "back of house" manual type labor (ie line cook, dishwashing, baking, etc)
• Clean driving record and Driver's License Required
• Ability to lift between 50-100lbs
• Some Weekdays and one or both weekend days available
• Ability to follow very detailed, specific instructions
• Ability to perform under high pressure
• Ability to Multitask
