Assistant Gas Pipe Installer

About the role

The Gas Pipe Assistant position at Dave Jones involves assisting in the code compliant installation of gas systems on commercial new construction sites. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with installation of gas systems using copper, steel, and flexible piping in compliance with codes
• Reading and interpreting blueprints or layout basic designs as needed
• Cutting and coring openings for piping using hand and power tools
• Supporting testing of systems to ensure leak-free and code-compliant installations
• Calculating BTU loads and sizing pipe layouts
• Installing piping, fittings, valves, regulators, and gas appliances

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Qualifications

Pay

Starting wage is $20 - $25 dollars per hour, dependent on experience.

Schedule

Hours are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with occasional overtime as needed.
