About the Role

The iconic Waldorf Astoria is seeking an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join the leadership team at this award-winning Las Vegas property. Located in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, this luxurious hotel features 389 rooms, 6 food and beverage outlets, and 12,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 3-meal restaurant, fine dining restaurant, tea lounge, bar, pool cafe, and in-room dining.

In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of Peacock Alley and Hard Shake, reporting directly to the Senior Food & Beverage Manager and directly supervising Front-of-House Team Members. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and inspiring leader who thrives in a guest-facing environment, leads by example, and fosters a culture of excellence, accountability, and hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Support seamless operations: Assist in managing daily food and beverage operations, including guest service, quality control, inventory, reservations, marketing, and reporting
  • Enhance guest satisfaction and service excellence: Assist with the development and implementation of guest satisfaction strategies, monitor trends, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvements
  • Deliver consistent quality: Ensure food presentation meets high standards and monitor cost and portion controls to maximize value
  • Support team performance and development: Assist in supervising and developing team members by providing training, scheduling, feedback, and recognition
  • Uphold regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations
