Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, NOBU - Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort

Responsibilities

• Support seamless operations: Assist in managing daily food and beverage operations, including guest service, quality control, inventory, reservations, marketing, and reporting
• Enhance guest satisfaction and service excellence: Assist with the development and implementation of guest satisfaction strategies, monitoring trends, gathering feedback, and driving continuous improvements to elevate the guest experience
• Deliver consistent quality: Ensure food presentation meets high standards and monitor cost and portion controls to maximize value
• Support team performance and development: Assist in supervising and developing team members by providing training, scheduling, feedback and recognition to foster a positive and productive work environment
• Uphold regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate must be an exceptional leader with a passion for creating extraordinary experiences, a talent for training and developing others, and experienced in all aspects of restaurant operations
• At least 2 years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume bar environment is required
• Strong beverage knowledge and prior luxury hotel experience are a plus

Pay

The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $77,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

Schedule

Shift: Various – Must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
