Assistant Floor Supervisor

About the role

Shambaugh & Son is seeking an Assistant Floor Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations of the Fabrication Shop while ensuring all safety requirements are maintained.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to scheduling requirements
• Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping
• Maintain a trusting relationship with work group, manage and develop shift staff
• Address employees’ issues and work with Shop Manager to address
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a production shift supervisor, managing production employees
• Adequate knowledge of business and management principles
• Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise
• Knowledgeable of safety and quality
• Ability to create accountability and lead by example
• Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Able to adapt to constant changing schedule
