Responsibilities
- Assist the Fleet Maintenance Manager with the oversight of maintenance personnel
- Organize the maintenance yard
- Perform various administrative duties
- Supervise the maintenance operation during shifts when the Fleet Maintenance Manager is not present
Qualifications
- CDL license
- Strong supervisory experience (supervise 30+ personnel)
- Able to track and control parts inventories, vendors, and suppliers
- Able to prioritize, implement, and manage work schedules, projects, and assignments
- Able to manage the financial/accounting aspects of a fleet maintenance operation
- Able to communicate effectively in writing and orally with all levels of staff
- Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Outlook
- Technical competence with light/medium/heavy duty vehicle repair and preventive maintenance
- Initiative, professionalism, candor, and tact
- Minimum of three (3) years fleet/vehicle maintenance supervision experience
- ASE Certified for truck/truck transit preferred
- Diesel experience required
Pay
Starting salary range: $90,000 - $103,043.20 based on experience
