About the role
The Colgate University Department of Athletics is seeking a part-time Assistant Field Hockey Coach to support the team.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the execution of specific strategic activities and outcomes within the assigned sport or area.
- Adhere to the Head Coach’s philosophy and responsibilities, including athletic instruction, coaching, program operations and administration.
- Assist with game scouting and coding of opponents, post-game analytics, camps, and clinics.
- Recruit student athletes.
- Model and lead positive behaviors and leadership for student-athletes.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in coaching or participation in field hockey.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- A current valid driver’s license, in accordance with the University’s Driver Safety and Motor Vehicle Use Policy.
