About the role

Warwick School District is seeking qualified applicants for a 50% Assistant Field Hockey Coach for the 2026/2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Field Hockey Coach in all aspects of the program
• Work closely with the Head Field Hockey Coach to develop and implement training programs
• Attend all home and away games and practices
• Assist in recruiting and developing student-athletes
• Participate in team meetings and other coaching staff discussions

Requirements

• Current medical examination
• Tuberculin test
• State and federal criminal record checks
• Child abuse history clearance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of coaching experience at the high school level
• Experience with field hockey preferred

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work well with students, parents, and colleagues
• Knowledge of field hockey rules and regulations
