About the role
The Assistant Field Hockey Coach will support the head coach in developing and implementing the team’s training programs, game strategies, and overall performance.
Responsibilities
- Support the head coach in planning and executing training sessions
- Develop game strategies and tactical plans
- Work closely with players to improve their skills and fitness
- Attend games and practices to provide guidance and feedback
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to maintain high standards of coaching and sportsmanship
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Coaching, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of coaching experience at the collegiate level
- Experience with field hockey and familiarity with NCAA rules and regulations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Qualifications

- Knowledge of player development and motivational techniques
