About the Role
Join our team as an Assistant Facility Manager to help run our new 110,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility. This role involves providing infrastructure for an analytical testing lab specializing in food chemistry, including infant formula, sole-source nutrition products, hemp and CBD, dietary supplements, and a variety of botanicals. Responsibilities
- Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
- Ensures regular attendance and punctuality.
- Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility.
- Works unsupervised, acts as a self-starter, collaborates in a team environment, and handles deadline pressure.
- Provides own basic hand tools.
- Performs or coordinates emergency machine repairs facility-wide.
- Rebuilds machinery as needed facility-wide.
- Diagnoses electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, and mechanical problems and takes corrective action.
- Reads electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and understands symbols.
- Understands PLC operation, uses PLC interface to diagnose problems, and affects corrective actions.
- Understands facility processes to diagnose maintenance problems.
- Aids in the development and installation of new or rebuilt equipment.
- Troubleshoots laboratory equipment such as chillers, shakers, water-baths, pumps, valves, or any other automated or manual equipment.
- Accurately logs details of shift on daily maintenance planner.
- Carries out preventive/predictive maintenance (P.M.’s) on facility equipment while documenting issues or updates (e.g., daily water testing).
- Completes work orders in a timely manner.
- Interfaces with all department supervisors and employees on equipment performance and maintenance requirements.
- Maintains compliance with all regulatory standards, including GMP, OSHA, FDA, EPA, DEA, and other state and local codes.
- Follows all company policies and procedures.
- Promotes a safe, secure, and positive work environment for all members.
- Complies with any applicable personal protective equipment requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements
- High school diploma or some secondary education.
- Industrial Maintenance Technician certification or industrial maintenance experience.
- HVAC Technician certification or HVAC technician experience.
- Welding and fabrication preferred; light carpentry, plumbing, and electrical knowledge required.

Pay
USD 40 - USD 45 per hour.
