Job Responsibilities
- Aid in preparing church facilities for activities and events and ensure they are properly secured afterward.
- Perform routine facility and equipment maintenance as directed by the Facilities Manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of church facilities and grounds.
- Assist with inspections and maintenance of light bulbs, HVAC filters, and other assigned tasks.
- Empty recycle bins according to schedule, place bins on curb, and replace them once emptied.
- Keep kitchen recycling and trash areas, as well as dumpster areas, clean and organized.
- In the absence of the Facilities Manager, serve as the primary point of contact for issues related to facilities use and church equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to operate any tools necessary to complete assigned maintenance tasks.
- Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors, regardless of temperature or weather conditions.
- Capacity to lift objects weighing more than 50 pounds.
- Part-time position (approximately 20 hours per week).
- Schedule coordinated with the Facilities Manager and based on campus activity and weekend requirements.
- No benefits provided.
