Responsibilities

• Assist in the oversight of all housekeeping operations, including room attendants, housemen, supervisors, inspectors, office coordinator, laundry, and public areas.
• Deliver a tailored guest experience with a "hospitality every time" mindset from arrival to departure.
• Train, motivate, and schedule the housekeeping team according to sequence of service to ensure maximum productivity, employee morale, and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure a consistently high level of cleaning standards throughout the hotel, adhering to Forbes Five-Star standards.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas regularly to maintain standards and quality.
• Audit room attendants, supervisors, and inspectors, providing regular feedback.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient hotel operations.
• Foster a positive, service-driven culture aligned with Forbes Five-Star standards.
• Assist in compiling the weekly schedule based on occupancy, business needs, and labor standards.
• Track room inspections completed by supervisors and inspectors, holding the team accountable.
• Address trends with the team, both individually and during pre-shift meetings.
• Monitor inventory for guest supplies, operating supplies, and laundry supplies, ordering as needed while adhering to the monthly budget.
• Assist with conducting monthly linen inventory and recording data.
• Coach supervisors and inspectors through regular one-on-ones to ensure department goals are met.
• Ensure deep cleaning is regularly scheduled in rooms and public areas in partnership with other departments.

Requirements

• 3+ years of housekeeping leadership experience, preferably at a luxury hotel property.
• Familiarity or experience with Forbes Five-Star standards preferred.
• Familiarity with Opera PMS/Alice Housekeeping Management Software is a plus.
• Solid understanding of housekeeping and laundry supplies and pars.
• Professional demeanor, open to feedback, with a focus on guest and employee experience.
• Exceptional communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
