Assistant Executive Housekeeper
About the role
The Assistant Executive Housekeeper is responsible for all duties of the housekeeping operation and cleanliness levels in all areas of the property. Duties include:
- Responsible for short and long-term planning and the management of the hotel’s housekeeping operations
- Develop and recommend the budget, labor cost plans and objectives and manages within those approved plans
- Solid understanding of housekeeping and laundry supplies and pars
- See that inspection and deep clean programs are consistently maintained
- Ensure all safety and security policies and procedures are followed
- Work closely with all other Departments
- Daily inspection of guest rooms and public areas
Responsibilities
Experience purchasing linens and housekeeping supplies
Work closely with vendors to ensure proper pricing, delivery, and maintenance
Experience teaching, supervising, and mentoring multilingual and multicultural staff
Achieve cleanliness and customer service goals
Coach and counsel employees to reflect Hyatt service standards and procedures
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
- 2-3 years or more of progressive hotel Rooms Management experience (typically with Hyatt)
- Housekeeping Management experience preferred
- Service oriented style with professional presentation skills
- Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line
- Possess strong leadership, communication, organization and relationship skills
- Experience with training, basic financial management and customer service
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment, including guests, associates, management team and owners
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and be flexible to work AM/PM shifts according to business demands
- Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight

Pay
The expected salary range for this position is $70,720 - $85,000
