Assistant Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct rubber compounding and tire material testing
• Collect, enter and analyze report data
• Perform routine equipment maintenance
• Problem solve and effectively communicate with other employees/customers
• Work with Microsoft Word documents and Excel spreadsheets

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in an engineering/chemistry related field
• One (1) year of rubber and/or tire industry or lab experience
• Detail oriented, organized and highly accurate
• Use effective means for checking accuracy of information
• Good business sense, enthusiasm and reliability
• Strong work ethic
• Solid mechanical or electrical knowledge (a plus)

$50,000 - $60,000
