Description
The Community Cupboard Assistant Manager supports the daily operations of the Goodwill Community Cupboard, a hybrid pay-what-you-can and retail food market. This role assists the Community Cupboard Manager in ensuring efficient operations and overall compliance. The Assistant Manager serves as manager on duty in the absence of the Community Cupboard Manager and assumes responsibility for day-to-day decision-making during those times.
Responsibilities
- Assists in managing the daily operations of the Goodwill Community Cupboard
- Affixes prices to items and ensures accurate pricing
- Ensures compliance with Goodwill’s policies and procedures
- Serves as manager on duty in the absence of the Community Cupboard Manager
- Assumes responsibility for day-to-day decision-making during those times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in retail or customer service preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Strong organizational and communication skills
