Assistant Electrical Construction Project Manager

Job Summary

Responsible to assist Project Managers with project planning, scheduling, purchasing, reporting, and tracking. Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field;
• or Two years’ experience in project coordination or management.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Affords Project Manager in planning work schedule, determining manpower levels, and arranging for assignment of project personnel.
• Advises Project Manager of potential problems, work interferences, and schedule difficulties.
• Affords assistance in circumventing/resolving such problems as assigned.
• Performs tasks required to assist in the development and maintenance of budgets for a portion of or an entire project.
• Includes coding timesheets, invoices, etc., collecting actual quantities installed, monitoring progress per cost account, identifying potential cost overruns, etc.
• Performs estimating assignments as required.
• Affords assistance in and updates construction forecast to reflect most accurate/current cost and estimate information.
• Calculates and prepares various comparison reports, charts, and tables for project analysis.
• Prepares specials reports, studies, etc. requested by the client and/or Project Manager.
• Oversees and/or processes day-to-day administrative items as required or assigned.
• This position is required to drive.
• This position is required to perform additional duties as assigned.
