Assistant Dispatcher

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Dispatcher to join our high-energy, fast-paced work environment. This role supports the lead Dispatcher in scheduling driver routes and ensuring on-time, accurate deliveries. We are looking for dynamic, career-minded individuals dedicated to contributing to our success.

Responsibilities

• Use the dispatch program to track orders from other stores and set up/distribute runs to drivers.
• Support the lead Dispatcher in ensuring drivers count money collected and record delivery times on bills.
• Work with Parts Pullers to ensure deliveries go out correctly.
• Assist drivers with route verification and address any route-related difficulties.
• Communicate with customers over the phone to update them on order status.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including maintaining workplace safety and securing/transferring cash or assets.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience as an assistant dispatcher or dispatcher.
• Extensive knowledge of area roads.
• Experience working with multiple drivers.
• Prior experience in an auto parts store is preferred.

Pay

Starting at $15.50 per hour.
