Auburn Athletics seeks an Assistant Director of Ticket Operations to support the department’s ticketing needs across Football, Men's & Women's Basketball, Gymnastics, Baseball, and Softball.

About the role

This fast-paced position drives the fan experience by managing ticketing operations, customer service, game-day logistics, and ticketing software while ensuring compliance with Tigers Unlimited, University, State, NCAA, and SEC policies.

Responsibilities

  • Aids in the day-to-day operation of the ticket office, including customer service, supervision of personnel, and game-day operations for all sports.
  • Assists patrons via phone, in-person, and email, including managing the general ticket office email account.
  • Serves as the first line of supervision for part-time staff and student employees.
  • Manages all facets of ticket operations for assigned sports, including ticket allocation, seat changes, setup, printing, and delivery.
  • Oversees post-season ticket operations for select sports and events.
  • Resolves customer complaints for donors, coaches, staff, faculty, alumni, and public ticket purchasers.
  • Collaborates with Tigers Unlimited, Ticket Sales, Marketing, and Communications on ticket sales plans, strategy, and timelines.
  • Assists with reporting, requests, and Equerry reports for assigned sports.
  • Aids in screening, hiring, and training ticket office student interns.
  • Travels to select events to administer and distribute player, coach, and administrator tickets and will-call.
  • Ensures compliance with all state, University, NCAA, and SEC rules regarding ticket sales and distribution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2 years of experience in ticketing operations or customer service.
