About the Role

Assistant Director: Reinforcement of the Core Values and Mission Statement of The Little Gym, understanding the philosophy and program, and communicating information accurately and professionally to team and customers.

Responsibilities

• Teach amazing gymnastics classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method (training provided).
• Provide outstanding customer service and membership experience; treat members like family with a professional yet personal touch.
• Handle office tasks including answering phone calls, texts, emails, Instaply, voicemail, and walk‑in inquiries.
• Public speaking: share knowledge of all programs and events offered.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by cleaning equipment thoroughly.
• Work flexible schedules — mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends (not a 9‑to‑5).

Qualifications

• Love having fun, giving high‑fives, and playing like a child (background in child development, physical education, and/or gymnastics a plus).

Schedule

30–35 hours per week. Friday and Saturday are off days.

About The Little Gym

The Little Gym is the world’s premier enrichment and physical development center for children ages 4 months through 12 years. Programs use movement‑based learning and imaginative play to build confidence and skills at each stage of childhood. For over 40 years, trained instructors have nurtured happy, confident kids through parent/child classes, gymnastics, dance, sports prep, camps, Parents’ Survival Nights, skill clinics, and Awesome Birthday Bash parties. All locations are independently owned and operated by a franchisee. This franchise, Somersault Operating, currently has 30 locations across 8 states (SC, NC, VA, TN, PA, NJ, WA, CA) with multiple new locations planned.

$42,000.00 per year
