Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all PERA facilities, including Harrington Auditorium, Sports & Recreation Center, Alumni Stadium, and the Rooftop Field Complex.
- Provide daily leadership, training, development, and scheduling of all student and staff managing PERA facilities to support wellness, physical education, recreation, and athletics activities.
- Work closely with campus facilities offices to coordinate the maintenance of all PERA facilities and equipment repair.
- Manage and coordinate all PERA facility reservation requests for both internal and external groups.
- Serve as the point person for external groups regarding contracts, risk management requirements, and operations of external activities.
- Work closely with campus constituents on all major events that impact PERA facilities.
- Develop and maintain operational policies and procedures for PERA Facilities, intramural, and recreational programming.
- Assist the Associate Athletic Director, PERA Facilities Operations & Recreation, with their areas of responsibility, including club sports, wellness programs, recreation, and summer programming.
- Direct and lead the PERA Facilities Operations & Recreation Coordinator in their responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., athletic administration, physical education, recreation management).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, recreation programming, or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage and supervise staff, develop policies and procedures, and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with risk management and emergency preparedness.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and stakeholders.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Pay
