Assistant Director of Transportation

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Five or more years of experience in school transportation
  • Possession of a class B CDL license with P/S endorsement, or ability to obtain same
  • Knowledge of Indiana Law and Regulations, along with Federal Laws and Regulations governing the transportation of school students
  • Associate's degree in management and/or computer systems or related field (preferred)
  • Experience working with youth (preferred)
  • Successful experience in using transportation routing and mapping software and automated computerized routing as related to school district transportation routing and logistics (preferred)
  • Bilingual (specifically Spanish.) (preferred)
