Assistant Director of Rehab

About the Role

Symbria's Rehab Team at Lutheran Hillside Village is seeking an Assistant Program Manager. This role involves managing an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team within a post-acute rehabilitation/outpatient environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Manager/Area Manager/Regional in managing the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team within a post-acute rehabilitation/outpatient environment
• Cooperate in community marketing activities relating to the post-acute delivery of therapy services
• Perform patient evaluation and effective administration of treatment programs
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations as delegated by Program Manager/Area Manager/Regional
• Assume Program Manager responsibilities in their absence

Qualifications

• Licensed clinician (physical, occupational, or speech language) in respective state(s) of service
• Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and basic math skills
• Effective interpersonal skills with strong focus on customer service
• Proficient use of computers and Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications

• Rehabilitation professional with acute care, long-term care, rehabilitation and/or outpatient experience
• Minimum two years clinical experience
