About the role
The Unit Manager coordinates the clinical care of an assigned unit within the center's 24-hour operation and ensures consistent and quality care for all residents. The role involves assessing needs, implementing care, and working as part of a strong interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
- Instruct the team regarding the skilled care process and serve as a resource person for clinical issues.
- Ensure the completion of requested reports, such as infection control and pharmacy compliance.
- Supervise the nursing team, giving direction, assignments, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing with at least 2 years of long-term care and leadership experience.
- Current Registered Nurse State of Michigan License and CPR-BLS certification required.
- High level of analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care, and develop solutions to problems.

Pay
$88,000 - $90,000 per year plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
