Assistant Director of Nursing PN - Virginia

Position Summary

Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate, develop, and implement faculty orientation and mentoring
• Facilitate program communication to include serving as the liaison between administration, faculty, and students
• Assist in clinical coordination

Qualifications

• Education/Credentials: Masters degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited School of Nursing required
• Current license in the state of Virginia required
• Experience: Two years management experience preferred
• A minimum of five years’ experience in a nursing specialty setting preferred
• A minimum of two years of teaching experience
• Must have experience with computer technology to include Learning Management Systems for remote synchronized and online blended learning curriculum delivery

Skills/Abilities

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to travel off-site as required
