Assistant Director of Nursing

Job Summary

The Assistant Director of Nursing - RN will support and manage Nursing Services, ensuring quality care in accordance with medical orders and regulatory standards.

Principal Responsibilities

• Coordinates resident care plans that align with physician orders and facility policies.
• Communicates and interprets policies to nursing staff and monitors their implementation.
• Participates in admissions decisions and visits prospective residents as needed.
• Attends daily and weekly management team meetings to discuss resident status and concerns.
• Ensures compassionate quality care through adequate services, staff coverage, and resident function maintenance.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as RN/LPN in the state practiced.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school required.
• Five years of experience in long-term or acute healthcare preferred.
• At least two years of nursing supervisory experience required.
