The Assistant Director of Nursing – LPN Program reports to the Director of Nursing and requires a registered nurse with excellent clinical and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
The Assistant Director of Nursing - LPN Program will schedule, coordinate, develop and implement faculty orientation and mentoring. The position is also crucial in facilitating overall program communication, serving as the liaison between administration, faculty, and students. The Assistant Director will assist in clinical coordination.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an institutionally accredited school (ACEN, CCNE, etc.)
- Current nursing license in the state of the campus location (Virginia)
- Two years of management experience (preferred)
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a nursing specialty setting (preferred)
- Minimum of two years of teaching experience (preferred)
- Experience with computer technology, including Learning Management Systems for remote synchronized and online blended learning curriculum delivery
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
- Off‑site travel required

Pay
Good‑faith pay range: $82,680–$94,640 per year (in accordance with Virginia law). Actual compensation will be based on qualifications, education, experience, skills, and other legitimate business factors.
