Responsibilities

  • Assist with the leadership and supervision of nursing services and staff to ensure compliance with all regulations and quality care standards
  • Support the Director of Nursing (DON) in developing and revising care plans and nursing practices to ensure the highest level of care is maintained
  • Provide training and guidance to nursing staff in accordance with company policies and best practices
  • Participate in the coordination of care and oversee daily nursing operations
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care
  • Promote and maintain a culture of safety and quality care throughout the facility

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Graduation from an approved RN program
  • Current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the state
  • In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines applicable to long-term care settings
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an ADON, RN Manager, Charge Nurse, or Unit Manager (preferred)
  • 3-5 years of nursing supervisory experience in the provision of direct care to multiple residents (preferred)
  • Experience in a Skilled Nursing environment (preferred)
  • Nursing degree from an accredited college (preferred)
  • Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) (preferred)

Pay

Salary range: $99,840–$110,240 per year
