Responsibilities
- Assist with the leadership and supervision of nursing services and staff to ensure compliance with all regulations and quality care standards
- Support the Director of Nursing (DON) in developing and revising care plans and nursing practices to ensure the highest level of care is maintained
- Provide training and guidance to nursing staff in accordance with company policies and best practices
- Participate in the coordination of care and oversee daily nursing operations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care
- Promote and maintain a culture of safety and quality care throughout the facility
Requirements
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Graduation from an approved RN program
- Current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the state
- In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines applicable to long-term care settings
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an ADON, RN Manager, Charge Nurse, or Unit Manager (preferred)
- 3-5 years of nursing supervisory experience in the provision of direct care to multiple residents (preferred)
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing environment (preferred)
- Nursing degree from an accredited college (preferred)
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) (preferred)
Pay
Salary range: $99,840–$110,240 per year
