New Mark Rehab is seeking an ADON- Assistant Director Of Nursing to manage Nursing Services in conjunction with the Director of Nursing Services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, goal orientation, and a drive for excellence.

Essential Functions

• Works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and manages the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, including staffing requirements, quality assurance, and monitoring of resident care.
• Makes regular rounds daily to observe operations and make recommendations for corrections as needed.
• Ensures resident's rights are maintained, as well as safety and infection control protocols are maintained.
• Supervises daily staffing requirements, reallocates staff as needed, ensuring compliance with duties.
• Attends Medicare and Care Plan meetings.
• Participates in the facility's Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement program, completing audits and reporting of results.
• Assumes duties of Director of Nursing in his/her absence.
• Rotates after-hours on-call duties as assigned.
• May be required to work floor as a staff nurse in event of nursing shortage.

Qualifications

• Great knowledge of legal regulations and best practices in healthcare.
• Excellent ability to lead and develop personnel.
• Great communication and people skills.
• Strives to improve patient care.
• Holds an LPN/RN License in the state of Missouri.
