Assistant Director of Nursing | ADON | LPN

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team at Carnegie Village Senior Living Community.

About the Role

As an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will support and carry out the administration and management of Nursing Services for residents. You will partner with the Director of Nursing (DON) to ensure 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and maintain quality standards of care in accordance with Federal, State, and company guidelines. In the absence of the DON, you will assume responsibility for clinical operations.

Responsibilities

• Support the administration and management of Nursing Services in accordance with physicians' orders and residents' total needs.
• Direct the Nursing Department to uphold quality standards of care.
• Provide 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services in partnership with the DON.
• Assume responsibility for clinical operations in the absence of the DON.

Requirements

• Currently licensed as an LPN in the state of practice.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred.
• Prior experience in a long-term care (LTC), skilled nursing facility (SNF), assisted living (AL), or memory care (MC) setting preferred.
• Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
• Passion for working with seniors and a flexible, energetic personality.
