About the role
The Assistant Director of Nursing at Copper Hills Youth Center is a full-time (40 hours per week) position responsible for various aspects of resident and employee health care.
Responsibilities
- Infection Control and monitoring of sterile and non-sterile physical care equipment
- Resident and employee health care education and prevention monitoring and surveillance
- Maintenance of compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, State and local standards
- Monitoring and evaluating resident services and nursing documentation
- Preparation of employee schedules
- Aid in resident and staff vaccinations
- On-call availability for emergency calls
- Occasional floor nursing duties
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse graduate of an accredited school of nursing with State of Utah RN licensure in good standing
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- CPR certified
Education/Experience
Preferred qualifications include experience in Behavioral Health Field.
