Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
Northern Pines Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team. About the role
The primary purpose of the ADON is to assist in the planning, organizing, development, and direction of the overall operation of the Nursing Services Department. This role ensures compliance with facility guidelines and regulations, maintaining the highest degree of quality care while upholding Eduro HealthCare Values: wellness, compassion, customer experience, and company results.
Daily Pay Available
$5,000 Sign-On Bonus*
Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in managing clinical operations of the nursing department.
- Develop nursing programs to ensure quality patient services.
- Plan and assign workload to nursing staff on a shift basis.
- Supervise and guide nursing staff on their daily job duties.
- Ensure nursing staff follow department procedures and policies.
- Address patient complaints promptly to ensure patient satisfaction.
- Ensure nursing staff perform assigned duties accurately and timely.
- Provide job training to nursing staff to meet department goals.
- Ensure nursing programs comply with federal, state, and local standards.

Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- Previous experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing and experience working with geriatric residents is preferred.
- Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program.
- Completion of orientation as required by company policy.
- Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment.
- Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire.
- Must pass a criminal background check, proving no history of criminal activity.
- Must provide satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment within three (3) days of hire.
