Responsibilities
- Clinical Governance: Maintain 4-Star standards by ensuring all nursing personnel exceed state, federal, and facility regulatory requirements.
- Strategic Oversight: Drive the implementation of nursing budgets and resource allocation in direct partnership with Facility Administration.
- Quality Assurance (QAPI): Spearhead compliance initiatives and quality improvement programs to maintain peak operational performance.
- Talent Acquisition & Development: Lead the recruitment, high-level onboarding, and clinical training of the nursing department to ensure a top-tier care team.
- Operational Leadership: Act as the primary clinical authority in the absence of the DON, managing complex resident needs and departmental workflow.
Requirements
- RN Required: A Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin is required.
- Must be Infection Preventionist Certified.
- Proven leadership in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. Previous experience as an ADON, Unit Manager, or Director of Nursing is highly prioritized.
- Infection Prevention and Control experience preferred.
- Strong ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, solve complex clinical puzzles, and mentor junior staff.

Schedule
Full-Time, Monday through Friday, with on-call rotation required.
