Assistant Director of Nursing ADON

Responsibilities

• Maintain 4-Star standards by ensuring all nursing personnel exceed state, federal, and facility regulatory requirements.
• Drive the implementation of nursing budgets and resource allocation in direct partnership with Facility Administration.
• Spearhead compliance initiatives and quality improvement programs (QAPI) to maintain peak operational performance.
• Lead the recruitment, high-level onboarding, and clinical training of the nursing department to ensure a top-tier care team.
• Act as the primary clinical authority in the absence of the DON, managing complex resident needs and departmental workflow.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin.
• Infection Preventionist Certification required.
• Proven leadership experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting; previous experience as an ADON, Unit Manager, or Director of Nursing is highly prioritized.
• Strong ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, solve complex clinical challenges, and mentor junior staff.

Schedule

Full-Time, Monday through Friday, with an on-call rotation required.
