Responsibilities
- Aid the Director of Nursing in managing daily nursing operations and clinical services.
- Support the 24-hour oversight of nursing services within the facility.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate and monitor resident care plans in collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to nursing personnel.
- Maintain quality measures, infection prevention efforts, and clinical outcomes.
- Assist with staff development, education, and performance management.
- Participate in management meetings to discuss resident care, census, staffing, and operational initiatives.
- Promote a culture of compassion, accountability, teamwork, and excellence.
- Serve as nursing leadership in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing supervisory or leadership experience.
- Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, or Healthcare Management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and clinical assessment skills.
- Knowledge of state and federal nursing regulations.
- Ability to lead teams, solve problems, and drive quality outcomes.
