Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team at Axiom Gardens of Flora in Flora, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and training
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with our organization's mission and vision
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective care coordination and communication
• Conduct regular audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards
• Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
• Participate in budget planning and management to ensure effective use of resources

Requirements

• Current Illinois Nursing license, with valid CPR certification
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, and staff
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on quality and safety
